Meet Dr. Barbre

Raymond E. Barbre, DDS, MS

As an orthodontist, I utilize both art and science to create beautiful, healthy smiles for each patient. I enjoy using my knowledge and experience for the benefit of our community, and consider myself lucky to build relationships with so many special people every day.

Education and Continuing Education

In order to become an orthodontist, I attained the following education:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree, McNeese State University, Lake Charles, LA
  • DDS (Valedictorian), University of Texas Dental School, San Antonio, TX
  • MS, Baylor Orthodontic Residence Program, Dallas, TX

I always want to remain on the forefront of my profession, and am continuously learning about new, proven techniques that can benefit my patients. I take many hours of continuing education every year, and enjoy incorporating what I learn into our practice. As part of my studies, I regularly attend local and national meetings with Invisalign, and am an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, local dental study clubs, and Fort Worth District Dental Society.

In the Practice

I have been proud to improve people's smiles since 1988, and always strive for perfection in every treatment. I love the one-on-one time I get with my patients, and want to bring a positive change to their self-esteem as well as their health.

Getting acquainted with patients over the course of treatment gives me greater personal satisfaction than simply being their orthodontist. I have made many close friends over the years, and I love seeing their proud smiles after treatment. I know I improve the lives of those around me, and am humbled to serve such wonderful, caring people.

Family and Community

I grew up in Southeast Texas, and have called Arlington my home since 1988. My lovely wife, Laura, and I have two wonderful kids named Ryan and Jessica, and two King Charles Spaniels. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, boating, hunting, and fishing. I am an active member of The Church on Rush Creek, and a supporter of many summer sports camps as well as the Boys and Girls Club.
